    Colts-Saints Super Bowl

I give the 5 points and pick the Colts. I don't even think the game will be that close. I am rooting for the Saints but I don't expect them to win. Manning is the worse matchup they could have since he doesn't turn the ball over and doesn't take sacks, two of the biggest things the Saints depend on to win games.

I'm rooting for the Saints. Mainly because they are the underdog and have never won a Super Bowl.

    I just hope it's a good game.

    Agree on all accounts.

Cheering for the Saints too, but I'm not expecting a win.

Congrats to the Saints, I have nothing against the Colts but I'm glad that New Orleans won.

Sean Payton straight up out-coached Caldwell.

I thought it was an entertaining game. I enjoyed it.
Anyone else notice that the refs didn't really call holding at all except on like 1 or 2 special teams plays. I thought it kept the game going at a good pace.

On the negative side....there was some atrocious tackling in this game.

It was a good game. Close, and if it wasn't for that key interception who knows what would have happened. That was a game winning int. imo.

Gratz Dru Brees, he seems like a stand up guy and he's a NFL veteran. I'm happy for him.

Not to mention. How about going for it on 4th and 1 when they didn't make it. I really thought that would bite them in the ass. Also that onside kick to start the half. ****in unheard of and really ballsy. I liked it.

Actually going for it and not making it was perfect. It forced Manning to have to go 99 yards with 1:40 left. Had they kicked the FG making it 10-6, he would've had almost 2 minutes to go 80 yards (or less) and it very likely would have been 17-6 at halftime. They were instead able to stop the Colts and get the ball back with enough time for the FG to end the half down only 10-6.

And the onside kick was probably the greatest call in Super Bowl history.

Not to say them going for it on 4th down in the first half was the right choice, but in the end that choice didn't hurt them because they were able force the colts to give the ball back to them before the half ended to get those three points anyway.

As a Colts fan that kick at the 2nd half really pissed me off. Only because it worked. I was pretty red faced at the time.

Now that I look at it... definately an awesome play. I think the Saints deserved the win because... well they obviously outplayed/coached the Colts.

    Nice one.

The onside kick didnt piss me off as much as the attempt for a 51 yd field goal with freaking Matt Stover. They should have punted and pinned them in within the 10.

    hah, nice pic.

this game was not at all what i was expecting. colts did not seem very aggressive. saints were throwing short passes. entertaining non the less.

Anyone see anything about Manning getting blocked in the back after he threw that pick? Couldn't tell from the couple of replays I saw but it definitely looked like there could have been a call.

Yes he did and 2 other colts players within in range got held. Nothing we can do about it now. I thought the officiating overall was horrendous.
