The Drift: Providing loot and scoots for gamehavoc since 2009.

I've got a bunch of reasons, including the low faction population and the fact that Drift has a lot of assholes in its old member core clique.

Among them the fact that a member for over a year that made almost every raid being called a "loot and scoot". They can rot, good luck finding another skilled 8.5K DPS on alliance.

The Drift, as a raid team, has always sucked. As far as social, I'm talking about 4-5 specific individuals who are particularily active and vocal members. A vast majority of the guild are cool guys to play with.

I joined up with Shining Force so I'll be playing with Ritz and Fred and a few other folks I know.

The sad thing is that Ferret's correct. When ICC came out, I came back to raid. The Drift was, as per usual, having problems with finding quality players. I came back to the most hostile raiding envrionment I've ever seen.

The Drift members wonder why they can't recruit good players, well it's simple. When you look at it, they have a core of 10 or so guys that are always there, and then constantly rotate people in and out. No one wants to stay because the core gets all the loot, instant raid slots, and any other type of special treatment.

it's a sad state of affairs for a guild I truly respected and admired, and loved being part of during the Ulduar raiding days.

As well, just like when darkwhite left, ferret owes them absolutely nothing. Just like me, when he's raiding, he is the very model of the perfect raider. If the drift had more like him, they would have actually been able to progress. Instead, they force out good players like myself, timber, darkwhite etc etc.

Anyway, if i start playing again, my first move will be to race transfer to ze horde side as well.

There've been plenty of Drift loot n scoots too... Mic, Ryan, Chris, Bootsy, Rhianon, Taco, George, Yuki, etc...

I do miss playing with you Smokeh. Even though I frustrated the **** out of you. Just as I miss playing with Timber. We'll see how this all goes, but I do feel it might be unlikely for the drift to continue to reach my goal, which is the lich king.
