oh lord. i thought it was bad enough to blearly open your eyes and see a kitten perching on your window sill, staring down at you as if they were contemplating the tasty bit to tuck in on in case you were dead.

now I know that is not true.

Just wait until your kitten grows up and actually starts contemplating how to kill you while you sleep. It gets unsettling when you wake up in the middle of the night with your cat staring at you with those "I see a chance" looks in their eyes.
