cs is dying if those are accurate, and im not surprised...whats happened with VAC? they were doing so good with the anticheat...then im on a server the other day and theres not 1 not 2, but 4 fags in there with aimbots running all willy nilly being gay, one guy is prefiring with a scout shooting everyone in the head with a scout through the wall before he rounds the corner, and his friend was too (the hax! clan)
then theres the other 2 fags in some other clan called fw or some lame shit like that 1 is just wallhacking, and the second one is spinning around like a top while moving around as usual and just shooting everyone in the head.... wheeee....

then they get into an argument about who's got the better hacks and how one clan will beat the other clan..."oh yeah well get a server then" "allright i will, your aimbot sucks look at mine its better"

its no surprise people are not wanting to play cs anymore.

plus a lot of people are still on WON. once won goes offline the numbers should go up...maybe.

Now, turn the "Servers with players" filter on. Now you know how many have players on them. Now, turn the last filter on, "Server not full" .. And subtract that number from the last one: Servers that are full.

A: you dont have to be an ass about it. no need for name calling.

B: when you querey the master severs you never get all of them. If you do a full refreash you will see that the server numbers are different. The numbers i got came from steam. The should be more accuret then just useing steam to get the numbers.

C: There are still way more CS servers than anyother game.
D: There are still way more CS players than anyother game.

It was a great time. I got to see players that play on TFC that get ban for "hacking" well they dont hack they are just that good. Hell there is even a video of a demo of a CPL player at a match set up with hacks on to show how close it looks to if he were hacking. Exactly the reason I DONT play CS, cause of the ppl. Too many servers have immature kids screaming over the mic and tking in FF servers. Just not worth it. Id rather play a game that has more skill, and has a fan base of ppl who are more mature.

I have also played many types of genres of video games, rpgs, mmorpgs, etc and through these expereiences I have been shown that in fact not everyone who plays games is a jackass. It is only in CS that you will join any random server and you are GUARANTEED to find at least 1 or 2 assholes putting forth extra effort to be annoying and just plain assholes. Ill stick to the games (Joint Ops) where I know more ppl are there to just have fun and actually care about trying to do some of the missions the game has, rather then ruining the expereince for others.

Hrmmmm, Let see. I have met jackasses in most every BF, BF:nam and UT2k4 demo server i have been in. The ball bouces both ways. I mostly play FPS'es thats why i only list FPS'es

Well cs is not that bad.
The place I saw the worst player were on Command&conquer: yuri's revenge.

GOD so much asshole in that game. My dad was really good and 9/10 people was calling him names and saying he cheated. So he stop playing on the net.
And what tick him off was this guy called him a looser after 2min of play and sended a teleport commando in his base, the guy was hacking so much.

It isn't the game, it's the attitudes people get from the whole competition angle, and the desire that they must 'win' at all costs to get satisfaction.

You take that desire for winning away, you get less stress about it and end up having more fun.

just because you play with people under 18 (like 90% of the people on this message board if im not mistaken) doesnt mean theyre automatically gonna be causing trouble which is what the current concensus seems to be everywhere i go. its all i hope cs:s costs money or has a steep learning curve so that these noobs, kids and haxors dont play it. i dont see what thats gonna solve. assholes are assholes no matter how old they are.

AS a rule, I'm as nice as possible on any server I like (I don't wanna be banned, do I?). The more competetive I'm feeling, the nicer I get (I pay attention more, and thus I notice when someone is doing good and I congratulate them, etc.).

Now, if I'm on a random server and I am goofing off, I become an ass. I'll see someone playing way too seriously ('Oh, my, God, you flashed me. Do that again and I'll kill you/ban you/tell an admin', etc) and I'll rag them til they snap and leave. OR, I'll see someone goofing off and I'll join in/encourage them to the hatered of all other players.

Yeah great. That is the same with any game too. the 1.9ish people per server is roughly the same you find else were. Hell when i used to play BF:nam it was hard as hell to find a server with more then 10 people where i didnt lag like hell.
