Ok question for all of you out there. I used to love comics and such and am debating getting CoH. I just want to make sure it is worth the price each month. Now that my wife got her job going I can afford to get my MMORPGs going again.

I never paid for a monthly game, ever. Hated the concept of it.

I've had a CoH sub since July of last year. Play it daily.

It's a great game. No loot / mindless bullshit behavior. No pointless spawn camping. No pointless fishing / crafting idiocy. Just going around smacking down evil.

Ah, one thing that really made me go out and pay for this game was the ability to just be able to fart about flying around all the maps dodging bullets and things. Very entertaining for quite a long time. I also, like Hamster, never thought I'd ever do this (play an MMORPG let alone one with a monthly fee) but have done so with this game as its such an exception to all other offerings.

City of Heroes is the mmorpg for people who usually hate mmorgs.

I also have taken an interest but don't want to spend the cash and end up quitting after a month. Since I played WoW for so long the mmorpg thing might be boring for me. Is there a trial or something I could do to test it out? :[

CoH free 7 day trials come out a lot.
Would wait for one of those.
