Guild Wars Community Night?

Having a gh community night for CSS worked wonders, and I realized that trying the same thing for GW might be a good idea.

I was thinking Wednesday nights around 9 PM, but lets hear suggestions of when it is better for people.

GW is, without a doubt, more fun with other people on. I think if we get a specific night for people to log on, it might encourage more players to sync up their characters in their location in the game. Also, people that haven't played in a while, show up and I'm sure there are at least a few others in the same place you left off. Us high level charactes are usually more than happy to give you a few good items to give you an edge. We can also try Team Arena while we're all logged on together. Arenas are lots of fun, but Team Arena is very difficult as well, and we'll need to work out char builds that work well together.

I have A post-ascension Me/E char on the Ice Caves of Sorrow mission, as well as a lv 13 R/Mo on Borlis Pass in the North Shiverpeaks.

My girlfriend has a character on Borlis Pass as well, as does one of my roommates.

My other roommate is somewhere in Old Ascalon.

My brother is also somewhere in Old Ascalon, as well as having a high level Mo/E in the Crystal Desert.

Thats FIVE people to show up, not even counting all of you gh folks out there. Lets give this a try, because GW is really a great game, and we've barely scratched the surface of what we can do as a guild.

Well, I don't know about an exact time, but I was thinking starting somewhere between 8 and 10 PM EST. My girlfriend got the night off of work, so she'll be there the whole time too.

As for Ice Caves of Sorrow... that mission is a BITCH, and I'd appreciate help getting through it!

So is tomorrow night (Wed, Sept 28) good for you folks? Also, if you're still early in the game ( less than about level 17 and still in Kryta or earlier), let us know your classes and what attributes you use. Us higher level guys will find stuff for you.

Well, I DID say "EST" after it....

Anyway, no specific time set as far as I'm concerned. I'll proably be on earlier anyway. Aeryn Faemyr says he can't be on until midnight, and I told him hopefully some of us would still be playing by then. Since I have to set a time, lets say 9 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time, for the Castlevanias in the audience).

Listen I don't always read through everybody's post as rarely I find any of them interesting enough, except for Doc's and LBV's. I get off work at 9 eastern time so don't expect me on earlier then 9:30 not that it really matters.

I will also be on from 1:00 pm to around 3:00 pm, and then later on around 8:00pm to 11:00 pm.


Level 5 NM/E currently doing as many quests as I can near the beginning of the game (yes, I'm a gw noob).

If my notebook wasn't in Miami being repaired I'd join in. Nothing like a Mo/E that can roam about anywhere. Nothing like finishing 2 of the titan quests and seeing Sorrows Furnace as evidence to a Monks healing powers.

Sorry to Oreo Nefarious and whoever else I was playing with earlier. Had a random ass power outage hit my neighborhood. Next wednesday I will make sure to nuke PG&E if my power goes down.

Well... not much of anybody showed up. Jack.ron was there for a while, and Nef was there too. My girlfriend, My roommate, and I did the Borlis Pass mission together.

I'm not too discouraged though, I came up with this community night idea just yesterday, so its not like people had a lot of notice.

Let me know if another night than Wednesday would be better for you folks.

thats why we need to move the date :) i said earlier that fridays were good, but i dont know how true that is... I guess any weekday but wed. or fri. is good.
