Heyas,

I just bought myself a new desktop for my computer. It has windows panel and since im using a logitech optic mouse, it doesnt work well without a mouse pad. And even with my mouse pad, sometimes my mouse make weird jerking moves (in windows, cs, etc..).

Anyone had that problem and fixed it?

That's strange, i've never had a problem with the logitech's... no matter what surface i put them on... i would use the actual logitech drivers first of all... it may fix it, it may not.

Har har, for your information all the mice are gone.

What kind of mouse are you using? I experienced skips when I had the original Logitech optical mouse (blue body), but it stopped when I got an MX300.

You might also consider getting a mousepad like a RatpadzGS or Funcwhateveritscalled. It's surface is designed to have irregular patterns so the optical sensor has an easier time noticing movement.

I'm using a standard Logitech Wheel Mouse (optical with a cord) and just updated my drivers and its still acting strange.

I had a flat wood desktop before without a mousepad and it was all fine. But since ive got my glass desktop, its all weird. I'll try buying a mousepad designed for optical mouse i guess.

That blows tho!

Use a sheet of printer paper as a mouse pad... tape it down or something. It will be fine.
