im looking at CPUs for my new comp... which is better? AMD XP or Intel P4 (possibly with HT)... im looking at cheap 2.0-2.5 GHz range

also quickly as im looking at this barebone with boxed CPU AMD XP +2500 it comes with a ATI 32mb i think 7000... cuz without the CPU it says 7000..

just tell me if its better or worse then my Nvidia TNT 2 32mb

Edit: i rechecked and without the CPU it says aTi Radeon 7000 32mb and with the CPU it just says aTi video card 32mb and they are the same barebone...

The one without the cpu has the better vid card (i think), but the 2600+ cpu would add a little bit of cash on top of the $150 for the barebones.

I usually go with AMD only because theyre cheaper than intels by far, but Intel has started picking up the slack, and their processors are pretty good for games now.

yea sad aint it? i got a system.. Sony Vaio 1.6GHz P4 512 RAM Nvidia TNT2 for like 600 bucks... go figure.... thats why im asking if this card is better than my TNT 2
