Yeah Im aware...i moved this over here since as a non-moderator I cant make polls in the site news section. I thought more would see it here and it was more important to be here in the game section.

There should be an option of "Doesn't really matter". ;)

Ventrilo sounds waayyy better and you don't have to worry about registering with the server and useless stuff like that.

I have no personal preference... Actually, I find them both incredibly annoying when used in CS scrims and matches. Trying to hear in-game sounds such as foot steps and having your dead teammates yelling "he's inside omg what are you doing?!" is incredibly distracting and annoying. Either is fine for games that dont have in-game voice though.

TS seems to use more something cause I cant hear ya m8s in game ... Vent i could. But both seem work when not in a game =P

Anywho my mics dead right now... Still trying to get it up. Maybe some of those new vitamins on the tv will help :lol:

i have, new vent old vent and teamspeak, i dont see the different in sound, but i cant use mouse4 or 5 and some people cant use it ingame.

I personally think vent is better, even though NAKED uses teamspeak =(

which of course, you can disable :)

it doesnt have to be there, just unckeck the "play that annoying talk sound"

but its under your settings somewhere...
when i get home, ill dig for it and see if i can locate it. its a checkbox, i remember that much. called "Keyclicks"

hmm none of the above actually fit gamers perfectly. What is X-Fire like ? I hear that is like Steam Friends with voice.
