Seriously. There's absolutely nothing good about this show EXCEPT the over-the-top critical sarcastic humor, which I highly enjoy. The rest of it is crap though. :)

The highlight trick? Of course. I merely chose to let people know I think the show pretty much sucks artisticly though :p

You think it's bad now, you ought to have seen the pilot...

You also have to realize that their budget sucked ass. Most of the time it was like two people doing ALL the extra voices.

They had to out-source to third world countries for filler animation frames... terrible.

BTW, I made the background picture for that trick... and implemented the trick. I'm rather proud of it. ;)

I suppose you did a good job if you drew the background image (Not that its particularily distinct) but the trick was implemented poorly ;P It can be done in a way that you can't see the second picture at all without highlighting, and see the other perfectly when you do. This one you can see both without highlighting and the dot pattern gives it away :P

This show is funny.....the first 2 times you see an episode. It gets you by going over the top, but over the top is only funny when it's new and unexpected. I currently enjoy an episode once every few months; I would never buy the DVDs.

As for the "image", Quagmire would never get that far with Lois. Remember the time he "messed his pants" just by seeing her naked?

I have all the seasons on dvd and i actuallly get a lot of use of them. I still watch them thought i've seen every one of them multiple times. The new season is suppose to come out next summer i believe, they are back with fox, hopefully with a bigger budget.

And they keep paying the Simpsons to self destruct, but kill off Futurama at it's peak. Oh well, that's one show I would have been sad to see go down hill.

yeah i've always liked futurama, and started lacking interest in the simpsons a little over a year ago. Fox cancelled family and then realized it was a mistake so hopefully they will realize the same with futurama, seeing as hopefully within the next years simpsons get's cancelled and matt groaning(sp?) can make more or something, i dunno
