Dual fan heatsink

Ok, since I have recently bought this brand spankin new heatsink/fan and a new case, I will install the 2nd fan on my heatsink (AeroCool Deep Impact). Is it better to have both fan blowing on the procesesor, or having out blowing in the cool air, and one sucking out the hot air? which provides better cooling?

I've always had suck from bottom, blow out top as my guide. Every fan which connects to the outside gets an air filter and sucks air into the case. The only fans that blow out are the power supply fan, and the fan right above it, as well as any "blowhole" fans you have on top of your case. that way the air circulates from the bottom into the case and out the top, pushing the hot air out. As for internal fans on HD's, vid cards, cpu's, etc. I always have my fan to suck fresh air over the unit (instead of blowing air directly on it) but if you maintain a good airflow throughout the case as I've outlined before, it really doesn't matter too much.

the 2 fans in the back of my case will be exhaust, but I may only be able to fit 1 fan if I have both fans on my cpu. the side and 2 front fans on the case will be intake. right now, I am thinking the cpu fan facing the front will be intake and the other exhaust

i leave my case open with no attached fans. and a 12" fan from wal-mart blowing air at the proc. works great, if you don't care about having it sitting open.

you may need to clean it once in a while with compressed air to remove dust n stuff...

stealer, thats not an option for me. I just need to know if its better for both blowing or one sucking and one blowing

One sucking, one blowing (boy that sounds wrong). As the idea is you want to move the hot air out, and replace it with cooler air.
