is there a way to adjust the brightness when you stream videos on gamespot? cuz i cant see a thing

double click and make it fullscreen windows media player then adjust it there.
havent done that but seems like it should work.

You could always use a program like bsplayer, it has a brightness option included. Of course, that would require making it your default player, but I beleive it plays all currently available codecs and extensions.

Yes it does, and it is one of the best, most clear, and fully built video player to date. It has worked well for me for a few years now, i highly recommend it.

i dont think you have that kind of choice when streaming videos on gamespot. only choices are windows media player and quicktime. The windows media player version wont let you change the brightness, but I havent tried quicktime

Have you tried saving the stream link to your computer than use the 'open with' command? It still runs the same codec/extension, just using a different player. Hell, you can make it so that the extension that is associated with that stream (probably wma or wmv) is opened by another program by default.
