yay it finally went through. when i fisrt started watching i was thinking in my head. surely you jest...this looks exactly like italy now. the lighting isnt even dynamic...then they show the other version and its like woooooo!!

the animations look kinda silly when they run but im sure theyre gonna tweak it. the one death animation ive seen wasnt all that impressive, but it sure beats the fly backwards stiff as a board death animations in cs now.


hahaha you can use the table in italy to block the doorway hahah the death animations look nice and the bullet hit decals look realistic as hell, well as realistic as movies have led me to belive bullets hitting walls behave.

i cant wait to play this game..

well, I am sure you have some other codec on there for a long time ago, but this is my new hd so that is all I have. Why does windows media player alway have problems with downloading the codec?

Uninstall Defiler. Try again. Reinstall Defiler, try again. You have to fully uninstall it to reset it..

Recently a German magazine, PC Games, was able to grab some exclusive CS Source footage from Valve. Included in the video is a look at Italy, Dust, and Cobble as well as interviews with Erik Johnson and Jess Cliffe, though they are dubbed over in German. One tidbit from the movie, along with the items below, is that Counter-Strike Source will be free to everyone who buys Half-Life 2.

Over at Half-Life 2 Fallout, Tek has posted a short list of some important tidbits found in the movie:
» After the initial release, Valve plans to add more maps that utilize the engine's capabilities.
» New Counter-Strke maps may be up to 10 times larger than current ones
» Valve wanted to do jungles maps for a while (*hint hint*)
» They're currently figuring out to what extent new objects are being placed in the maps

Half-life 2 is back in PCGamers release date section. This is probably the 4 or 5 time it has been in it so i may not mean much but... The date was from sept. 1st, 2004. So i guess all we can do is sit back and see what happens.

you guys be wastin way too much time downloading codec paks. everyone mostly uses divx now or xvid which is just divx with a diff bitrate and you dont even need to download the xvid codec to see xvid because its divx.

Defiler only contains two video codecs..xvid and I forget the other's name. That's it. The rest are audio codecs "just in case"
