I love ut2k4 except for one part of online play... the map selection sux. Are there any custom maps for ut2k4? and how would the download system work? I am just afraid that those few maps will turn into de_dust :shocked:

i play on servers with custom maps and they automatically download em when i connect. i only play onslaught so i dont know how its gonna be with whatever modes you all play.


for me its all about the onslaught **** everything else. cept ctf.

gamehavoc is onslaught. i dont even know if ferret would want to add customs though cuz it may empty the server? i dont know

it wont empty the server at all, so easy to download a map in ut2k4 people would stay on thats a definite

how long does it take to download a map though? I mean it already take me an hour to load a map.

Get the comunity bonus packs. There are bunchs of custom maps in there for all the modes.

If your loading the maps slow turn off "Preload all player skins". It is what causes the slow load.
