New Forum Suggestion?

I know we don't host a Battlefield 2 server, but a significant few of us do own it and seem to enjoy talking about it. Prehaps we could have a spun-off Battlefield 2 dedicated sub-forum in "Game Forums"? And I thought prehaps also a Battlefield 2 channel in Team Speak 2 seeing as how we frequently switch from the NAKED channel, to the general channel, to whatever else someone is in. We frequently use TS2 for Battlefield 2 because of the clearer reception, so the channel wouldn't go to waste. Yes?

well to me i like in game VoIP because it lowers ambient sounds when someone is talking. with TS it just is heard, but half the time the chopper blades whirring makes it inaudible. but it would be good to have a channel at least so that players dont annoy other people when they're playing

I can get us a "GH Affiliated" BF2 server if alot of you guys like? I host GameServers so. If alot of people are going to play..I'm down. Although, I don't have the game because my hardware right now is too old, Maybe the server will make me want to upgrade :)

yea, talon sucks, we're all in agreement.

I've still got to add ram to my notebook.. game runs fine but takes quite a while to load, and the first few minutes of the game are super-laggy while everything finishes setting up.

TS for BF2? I SO SO SO SO SO SO HATE TEAMSPEAK!!! STOP RUINING MY GAMES YOU THIRD PARTY APP. TS for BF2 is the cheat. The game is set up so you can only talk to your sqaud and only the sqaud leader can talk to teh commander.

They were doing it anyways. I don't really care, my ultimate goal is to make sure GH's resource are used and our money doesn't go to waste.

We seem to ban a lot of hackers. Why waste ouyr resources and time? Lets just host the Hacks and stop bothering admins who want to play but rather have to ban people. It would be a lot more efficent.

If you knew what you were talking about, you'd feel so silly. We don't use it to ghost because frankly, there's WAY too much going on and too much we're doing while we chat to even ghost. Besides, we use it for clarity because the in-game VOIP kinda blows.

The gameplay isn't being ruined. Regardless, we use TS2 for BF2 anyway, but having a dedicated channel takes away from people chatting casually in the default channels.

doc, they are in the same squad every time so using teamspeak to talk to each other doesn't take anything from the gameplay
