For those of you who own an Xbox and are into strategy games this is a must. The basic concept behind the game is that you are a platoon commander and are in charge of alpha and bravo company. Each company consists of a Team Leader, Automatic Rifleman (SAW), a grenadier with a M203 grenade launcher/ m4 combo, and a rifleman. You switch back and forth between the teams to accomplish objectives. So far I have not been able to put the game down. If you are looking for an FPS this is not it, but if you are into Real Time 3D strategy games this is definitely a good one. There is nothing better than than peeking around a corner, seeing a sniper then ordering your grenadier to blast him off his perch. This game is a bit challenging at first but once you get the swing of the controls its a blast, no pun intended.

it is actually a game developed first for the military to use. All the talking that ur soldiers do that you think is "flavor" was put in for military use. TV = good

They left in the simulation mode of the game BTW which is the exact and only version they use to train/entertain troops in the middle east. Look on google for the code and screenshots of the sim mode, it's even grittier, and more challenging.

Nah, my computer wasn't fast enough to play it when 1.0 came out and when I d/l'ed it, I didn't really like the game physics too much. Now that all this cool stuff's come out for it (snipers, troopers, medics, etc.) I still haven't gone back. Maybe when I get bored one day I'll give it another shot.

=D now they've got sniper qualifications, medic training [literally, like the RL stuff. sit in a classroom for a few mins and take notes on basic medic stuff], special forces stuff, and new SF maps [sporting the stryker brigade - controllable vehicle turret. omg. 50cal beast]
i got a gf2 gts, p4 2.26ghz 512 ram, it works decent, cept on SF maps. then i go from 800x600 to 640x480. :P
