Honestly, I dont believe in paying $50 for a game, and then being forced to pay $15 a month just to play it... just to have them sit on it and suck money from it and never do anything with it.

The reason MMORPGs have a monthly fee is because of the constant updating of them, as well as the constant watching over servers that employees have to do. With over 5,000 people playing accross 10 servers, people are usually there night and day.

I was told that a lot of people that migrated to CoH stopped playing altogether..

Could be a reason.. maybe .. repetitive play.. not enough content?

I stopped playing for a few reasons:

1. Needed a good team to get things done (sometimes hard to find)
2. Joint Operations came out and is absolutely superb
3. Content did lack slightly, would have been cool if bigger missions.

Add for me:
4. Out of ****ing free time.

Bah.

That's why you go tanker, man. Solo city.

Teammates aren't hard to find, on the rare occasions they're needed.

well tanker is boring. I enjoyed using a Controller, and it sux that in that game choosing a character of a certain type makes it a requirement to have a good team. Why have those classes if they are a pain to be?

FYI I liked the game a lot and didnt decide to just stop playing one day for the reasons I stated above. I kind of slowly stopped playing when I became too busy. Then i just didnt go back to it since other games were coming out that were more interestng.

Agree, controller and defender would be annoying to solo with. For those, you'd need a decent pool of good people to team with.

Wish this had come out while I was in college. Would be a wonderfull game to play with friends / roommates.
