Neither are fakes... I had a friend who had a friend who had a friend who downloaded the 2gb "leaked beta" and showed me. It looked awesome and was fun as hell to run around in. No AI though and the water was messed up a bit, but it looked awesome.

The "furries tigger pics" search on your Google toolbar is very unsettling, and very creepy.

The thing about the leaked alpha was, in all those E3 videos, everyone was so amazed at how good the AI was. Like in the first scene when they would actually kick open the door after he blocked it, but it was all jsut scripted, cause the guard kicks the door opened no matter what. And that scene when gordon "bumps" into the monitor and it falls off the desk and they yell at him to be careful, that only happens when you bump it from the front...
half life 2 will never be released, just like duke nukem

I havnt played the leaked code nor do i care too. I can wait till it comes out. But IF you are one to beleive what valve says, witch i do, the demos at E3 are NOT scripted. If you do the same thing the AI may act the same way. I have read a few times when the video was released that it was not scripted. The same with the strider videos. This was all in PCgamer last year. Look it up.

i dont wanna make a big "thing" out of this but everyone is always saying that valve said the demos are not scripted but they never said that, they said they are representations of what you can expect to see in the game. and if you watch the e32k4 video from fileplanet they demonstrate this. but they never said everything in the game would be unscripted which is what everyone seems to be thinking
Yes, this is true. No one claimed this years E3 demos where or where not scripted. Last years demos however they claimed where NOT scripted. This was even talked about in pcgamer on one of the previews that pcgamer did with valve.
