New Harddrive

Hey There. I just put in this new 80 gig harddrive and i set it to slave and the other harddrive i have to master. When i get my computer started windows tells me that the drive is there but i cant use it. It doesnt show up in My Computer. I tried to look at the bios and it says its there but it wont let me put it in the boot up menu. HeLP ME!!@!@
