I guess this is a review of games in general, and thus a media review. I thought it was a quick and interesting read, though not too deep. Check it out.

Very interesting.. and Something already that I have been thinking about for the future of games.
As it was said in that lil story/cartoon thing. Games are just to predictible and thats what makes it boring.
Many companies are just feeding off old ideas that seem to work and tossin new layers of clothing on them. To spice em up. I hope to achieve a standard that Nintendo has had. To bring out New original content. Games that bring life into the gamers emercing them into the virtual world they play in. Knowing that they have the power to make things happen in the game and it is not the game that has the power to decide what happens.
Hopefully within time we shall be seein a new wave of video games that allows us to actually sit back and think as if it were actually a life or death situation.
Till then the games we play will be played but then put aside to again play a new one which has a similar feel to the last, just we more pretty colors.

I was thinking about old games. Not like Centipede and Space Invaders where it's about mastering the paterns, but about Mario games. I love Mario 3 and Super Mario World, but I already mastered their patterens. There's a few places I still have problems with, but most of the levels I know forwards and backs and just enjoy playing over and over, the same way each time. Why are they still fun for me then?

I believe Fun is like a memory. We have memories for some reason. And we have fun for some reason. These games that we play or used to play and yet still enjoy playing are emmbed into our minds so to speak. To where they are memories.
I donno, as long as there is Fun and continued fun there after, then its not only a successful game. Its a memory....
(lol i just wanted to say memory) 8)
