Suggestion: BROADEN GH

I know that GH is a community, per se, but I also know that GH is more of a close knit community than an open one. My suggestion? Have more site content that gives off more of a big and OPEN community instead of seeming like another 'thing' out there in the gaming world. What if we were to add content on the site such as Windows/Linux tweaks to improve your gaming experience in a GAMING TWEAKS section with new additions being added by our own community members frequently. Or prehaps a PIC OF THE WEEK by having community members submit their best/strangest/funniest/coolest screenshots and have it posted for the week on the main page like the planetwhatever.com sites owned by GameSpy do. We could also do an EVENT HUNTERS section with community members adding gaming events detail which they have heard of locally so that anyone in GH living around there can go and know where. And of course, a RANT OF THE WEEK by Dissman or anyone with debate expertice rambling on about something he disapproves of, hates, and/or happened to him that week with a forum thread lead that allows the community to debate with.

These are ideas, but it would bring in further interest to check out not just the website, but the community as well. If we make it known it is a community in that we all participate because we're regulars here, then it'll interest a lot more people to become a part of something meaningful and involving.

And if things go pretty damn good in this aspect, we could have server owners from other places enjoy themselves to want to become a GH sister server and/or merge into GH and make it grow.

We'll eventually be expanding into those areas, but I've got my hands full keeping the site and everything happy in its current format. When I've got some more time we'll be moving into some new areas.
