Pub Forums has a 3 second advert to redirect people here

I put a message in for patrons using the forums on the pub. There is a note that games players should migratre over to here. :P

A) Make the 3 seconds like 10 so people can react and click. i didnt get past the first line and i was pushed over past it (makes having it comepletly useless then).

B) Link them to here rather than spurtyspub's forums. as if your trying to make them NOT use it, dont give it to them. leave the link that brings them to the spurtyspub forums still though in case someone needs to look up something.

I increased the time to 10 seconds for the hard of hearing.

The pub forums will convert over to pub only stuff. i.e. it wont have Counter Strike stuff there, but will have random talk and Pub work related talk.

My main concern is that people think Spurtys Pub is dead. That would be bad for the pub if no one else, cause when that dies, I will move on and give up gaming and IRC :shock:

I've just converted the Pub into a Corporation, the reason for that is the production of a game and the medium to receive funds. Obviously, its also fun to have a corporation and very interesting.

Ok, I'm rambling on and on about nothing now (and I'm not even dressed for it)

Thinking more about this, it probably wont happen like that in the end.

Why have I replied to this post (most old and ancient)? Becuase this is where I said I was going to give up playing if the pub died and wanted to address it. The reality is, giving up playing games is like giving up on life for me, which will never happen (I cling to life too much to not fight to keep it), so I'll always be about.

If the pub dies next year (a strong reality) I'll sink my time purely into GameHavoc instead time, money and experience.

Ferret fights to make things happen, which is all one can ask for. Some of my partners have all but vanished which is strange as there is nothing stopping them being here other than to turn their computers on and sit at them ::sigh::
