View Full Version : PHotoshop Technique 2. A breeze of Seven Colours

Alright this new technique creates a nioe Background for any amateur Photoshoper! Now we will begin to create a picture similar to this:

Step 1: Open a new Image up. IT MUST BE A SQUARE! I'm using 500 x 500 pixels.

Step 2 Go to Filter > Render > Clouds

Step 3 Now go to Filter > render > Difference of Clouds. *Note you may render as many times as desired!*

Step 4 Now we go to Filter > Stylize > Find Edges

Step 5 Now We go to Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates. * Note this should be set to Polar to Rectangular!*

Step 6 Now Repeat Step 5 2 more times. You should do it [colour=red] 3 TIMES TOTAL!!!!![/color]

It should resemble this!

Step 7 Now the complicated part. Go to Filter > Distort > Wave

Set the Number of Generations to 730. then set the Wavelength to 750 Max., and 540 Min. Amplitude Max. 1, Min. 1 and Sacle to 100% on both horizontal and Vertical settings. Make Sure you Hav it on Wrap Around!! and Sine!!!!! you can play around with the settings until you find nice curves!

Step 8 Now Duplicate the layer! By selecting the marquee tool right clicking on ur project and hitting duplicate layer.

Step 9 Now Transform your picture by hitting ctrl+t, Then Right click and rotate it 90 degrees CCW

Step 10 Now Duplicate your layer once again! And Invert it!. ctrl+I is your command to invert your colour.

Step 11 Now You will go to your 2 Layers and set there mode to Overlay

Step 12 Now If you want to add colour. select the SECOND LAYER and Colourize it. (ctrl+u) And set it to the colour of your choice!
