Are there any Skill Quests post-seering? Seems to have been a long time since I've gotten any.

Yes, there are tons of them.
Just buy the skills, though. :?

you can buy 99% of all the skills out there (sold at various trainers) but you have to capture the elite ones from bosses (pain in the ass to do too).

I guess you haven't looked at the recent patch notes.
You can now capture any skill, even from a dead boss. When you use it, it pops up a menu type thing that allows you to choose which skill you want to take.
It's a lot easier.

omg that's awsome, because it was impossible trying to capture milandru's arrows from a boss and the capture signit kept saying tiger pounce or something like that.
edit: omg love the new capture system, the boss doesn't even have to USE the skill to even capture it now.

Hey, someone tell me where to get a good smiting spell for my monk. I already have the common ones. What about this one called something like Balthazar's Wrath or something like that. I want that one.

i think that's an elite skill oreo, which needs to be captured off of a monk boss
This post is not to revive a worn topic but rather to tell you of a very great Monk build for PvP.
Greatness doesn't begin to describe the success I've had with this build.
Spells: Bane Signet - Aegis - Signet of Devotion - Remove Hex - mend Condition - Heal Other - Unyielding Aura - Healing Breeze
Attribute Pts: 13 Healing, 11 Smite, 7 Protection, 13 Divine Intervention.
Armor is the top sold at Dorks Forge, and my Weapon is mute b/c if I attack I may break the Unyielding Aura. I still carry a gold wand however that improves my smite recharge rate of 15%.
My main tactic is to hid and besure not to be the closest person to the enemy. If I'm found and targeted by Warrior(s) I run circles around the main party of my group. This gives them the ability to break off from me or get stuck in another battle. I'll eventually gain enough space to heal myself or perhaps another. If I don't have enough space I use Aegis to diflect the attacks and quickly heal myself to resume the run.
With these two tactics the party can ussually win 5 rounds clean (flawless).
When a person dies I can quickly rez them with Unyielding Aura, but can no longer attack with my wand. Bane Signet can still be used and it has saved my butt plenty of times b/c it knock the target down. However, the restriction of not using my wand is mild considering I do quite a bit of healing.
I've tried several other build, some even where I get 6 restore arrows for energy, and can say that this build has seen far more victories than the others. It has survived: the test of endurance, being out manned, all casters no Warriors, and a 5 minute run as Last Man standing. It has won a battle of HP against a N/R aswell but I've yet to test the HP battle against a Tank. Although I'm sure my Healing Breeze, Signet of Devotion, and Aegis will make the battle very close. The only test i've not won is that of speed, a Warrior will catch me eventually and all I can do is put enough obsticles between us (Bane Signet is one of them).
If a weakness is found please reply.

Wish I could tell you if there was. Unfortunatly I don't have a monk at that level, let alone with all of those skills. It seems like the most solid build I've seen so far.
Concerning your att points, I think you used the wrong column on your char sheet.

Yeah, that's a pretty beastly Monk template. I didn't see any problems with it.

I just made a memsmer/warrior for RPG mode...omg...bleeing followed by a decent level of conjur phantasim and empathy = you dead REALLY quick.
That and my current sword gives me +5 armor when casting and a 11% chance of fastcast when casting

That's a nice 1/2/3 combo DK0. Howewver, I'd still stay outta melee combat with that character. The Mesmer spells are really simple for Monks to break, and most counter Hex spells for a Monk can even do damage back to the caster. The worse Hex spells I find are the ones that do damage once you remove them. Still I know that combo could own most all other casting classes very convincingly.
BTW: Zan, I really do have that many attribute points; 30 were gained through Hero Challenges, a few others from Runes. Also Attribute points differs from Attribute Ranks, which are slightly lower than the actual point value.
