Mod Night!

Just an idea I had to try to get people playing on the various servers. Like I know there are people who want to play DoD and NS and CZ and everything else. So what I was thinking we could have a poll for like 2 or 3 nights a week where we select what mod we all want to play. Like say on Thursday people vote NS, so then people will join up on the server and we will have fun and play it. Just a way to use the regs we have here to help populate the servers.

For example, last night we got the CZ server going and well a couple of the people that played with us last night joined up on the community. So if we get people here and there with different mods we can help the community grow.

Young... NS is the shizzlizzle of all HL mods. Period. Sure there are a few bugs and balance issues, but its SOOO MUCH FUN.

well my idea was that we have a poll for the upcoming mod night of what mod people would like to play. So like poll goes up, and we decide taht wendesday will be NS. and then the next week people want DoD. Something along that line.

would deathmatch be an option on the cs server? I find that good deathmatch servers are generally full or at least have 12 or so. I am not sure if this is the kind of thing you are asking about or not, but I enjoy playing Dm because I have little time to play cs anyhow, with it being summer and my boy is running around like a monkey now. I will also try sitting on the server at night again and see if people will come. it used to work on chi and fcs so i'll give her a shot.

MOD night being, change cs1 into some other mod? if so, then we already have an ns server, and a dod server.

no i think the concept is to more or less just have everyone play this mod for the night to try and build up a single server and get new people to join the community.
