Getting my pc back from teh shop today (motherboard failed, couldn't diagnose it myself at home :().
Specificially, one of the memory slots had died.
They claim it's also hanging up booting into windows. Told them I'd take care of it.
Assuming, however, that whatever is wrong with windows proves to be more Powerfull Then Hamster, I have some questions on booting with the WinXP Home edition install disc and using the recovery console.
Windows help page isn't the most helpfull.
Is there an easy way for it to reinstall / repair the installation?
