Anyone play this? Boring/meaningless grinding as bad as the reviews claim?

Shame, graphics are pretty. Especially the half naked dark elves.

Never actually played it myself, but I've heard the same thing about the meaningless grind. One of my friends from College was playing it and although he liked it, from the description he game, it sounded like a meaningless grind.

i play Lineage 2. Mainly Chronicle I, harbringers of war.

i like the game, i play it religiously.. although it is very processor heavy. Guildwars is a LOT less strain on the PC than L2, probably because GW engine was built for the game to be MMORPG and L2 is based off the unreal engine.
both have ups and downs, and so far i like both..
