UT2K4 ONS server - why FF without kick voting?

The Game Havoc UT2K4 ONS server (67.18.29.250) desperately needs to either disable friendly fire, or to add kick voting. There's a player who routinely disupts games by going after his own teammates. Irritating players on both teams, and driving off players.

why is ff on period? i could see if it was a tdm server but its onslaught people are driving vehicles and shooting ion cannons and target painters and redeemers and whatnot. ff shouldnt be on. i killed my teammates like 20 times during one game cuz i try to destroy a node with a redeemer or ion painter or i swoop down in a manta and take out my teammates in the process of killing the enemies.

i mean how the hell am i supposed to control the blast radius of the rockets im shooting at th enemies who are in the midst of my teammates? it has rockets in the gamme FFS. ff should be off.

use a different weapon. I have never had a problem with ff.

it's called being a little more carefull with what weapon you use, and who you use it on.

yes. ive played lots. and i usually get Tk'd once a night. not a big deal. it makes it more challeneging. use your voice com and say "Clear the area, im dropping the ion paitner at point blah"

uh, yeah, and yet at the same time i havent had any issues shooting my teamates... nor have i had any issues of myself getting killed repeatedly by rockets.

i can understand the occasional running a teammate over with a vehicule, but having problems killing teammates with normal weapons is just careless. i've shot redeemers n stuff at an enemy node that my team is currently trying to take over, and i don't think i've killed more than 2 teammates in total by doing that.

I have no problem with FF - except for the lamers that go araound intentionally killing their own teammates. That's why I don't understand why have FF, but not kick voting? That way, if someone is being an arse, the other players can boot him/her. There's another one on tonight - 'Hierophant' going around hunting his own team mates and shooting them. Any mods around tonight that can ban the bastard?
