umm...I was just in the server a moment ago, (just me and the 4 bots) and decided to switch it to the cz version of italy...what supprised the hell outta me was that it said my version of cs_italy_cz.bsp DIFFERS from the server...umm...yeah...any idea here?

The really strange part was that I was playing italy a few mins before on a different server...

Har har .. CS is sooo weak compared to CZ though.

CZ also has MUSIC and its actually damn good Millitary stuff. I also like the extra models and the fact there is NO excuse for not hanging about on the server, cause the bots are fine opponents (not too tough, not to easy either).

Natural Selection is fun aswell, but its not for everyone. :P

Personally I prefer CZ, but it would have a stronger following if it weren't sold as a full fledged game. More people would buy it if it were say, $15.

Agreed, the fact they didn't shut down the inferior CS to bulster sales is beyond me.
$15 is about right, but they could make a killing at $5 I reckons.

Thats tag doesn't close as it doesn't like it. Check the bottom right of the MOTD when you enter CZ and compare to CS

I'm just wondering if anyone else has trouble with CZ lagging their computer. Steam is fine but CZ causes me to lag.

Do you think it is because it requires a better video card or more vid memory?

CZ is clearly a next gen engine / graphics / models / AI and all sorts of things of the CS world. I think all the sexy extra bits lag your graphics card. I have a fairly fast machine and don't have any issues with this game at all.

Infact, when more than 2 enemy appear on my screen, CZ doesn't run at 5fps :-/ so I guess its skins and clever effects that are lagging your video.

CZ is nice but no one plays it, and I HATE the bots. I refuse to play if their are any bots cause they are bigger BS then any hacker ever was.

Maybe the CZ server would have more people on it if there were no bots? This was suggested by someone I was playing with the last time I was on ghCZ. I forget who it was.

It's retarded... every decent cz gameserver I get on has like 6 bots playing. It's no fun...

It was cool for UT back when I had dial-up and couldn't play online, really... but now, bots just aren't fun.

Hmm I don't have an issue with the bots. They are simple enough to kill. Lot easier than some of the humans I have played with (the bots miss more often).

I actually like the bots. They don't ridicule me for the fact that I suck. Also, if I wake up at 4am and wanna play, there's always someone on.
