Today I was looking through some reports from the server and noticed a bandwidth usage drop off at 2am lastnight. This was strange since the server rarely has such a long period of idle usage.. Usually the UT2K4 server has players on about 20-22 hours a day, and this keeps the usage high.
So I go and check things out. No players on UT2K4 since 2am. I go to check UT2K4.. Its using a constant 30.2% of the CPU. I keep watching the monitor, and it doesn't change from 30.2%.. So I kill it off and let it restart.
This is the second time UT2K4 has apparently "frozen" and gotten stuck. The last time was sometime last month, and I also had to manually restart it. It had been empty for 7 hours that time and immediately filled up, so it seemed obvious the server was frozen. I'm expecting to see players on it again shortly now that I've restarted it.
So why this post? Other than information, I was wondering if anyone actually noticed this and had been trying to get on the server?
