I've almost bought City of Heros, like, 4 times. Always sounded like fun, but I just have a real problem with subscription-based gaming. I tend to play obsessively for a few months, then stop completely for a few months. Same reason I don't have WoW.

So did I, but CoH is often called the mmorg for people who hate mmorgs. No crafting, no forced pvp, no camping spawns. Just single and teamups fighting evil.

I really liked CoH but certain things about it lost my interest. The parts of CoH I liked most, the fast and friendly gameplay, WoW does better. CoH did it first and put games like EQ to shame in that department but WoW is the new champ. I also hated the random dunguen design. They lacked character and varity. CoH I presume is still good and does things no other MMORPG has but WoW is the game for me...at least right now.

well put, I couldnt agree more. CoH was good, but WoW is AMAZING!

I loved the fact you can fly/hover/teleport in CoH. I spent a ton of time just porting people around the map after I had flown / teleported to the location they wanted to be at.

haha WoW definately has more depth to it, but CoH allows you to fly! Thats pretty much what I bought it for in the end.

and if you a mage you can portal to 3 diffenent cities...

but what if all you want to do is get to the top of a mountain without having to use a road/path/lift ?

Still playing CoH heavily, since June of last year. Great people there, love being a super hero. Was heavily interested in WoW, but some of the aspects of the game I wasn't greatly impressed with, and few friends I had playing were moving to it.

Been having a blaster with my kheldian.
