Is there any way to stop CoD from broadcasting anything you type in console?
If you mess up the syntax, you broadcast it to the whole server.
So, I assume, if someone messes something up when typing in their rcon password, it'll broadcast it to the server.
It's really annoying, and potentially damaging if some asshat got the password.

Apache, to answer your question. No.
there is nothign you can do. Most sad as that is an issue.
just remember to press the tab key as you go.
IE: when typing RCON type rco (tab) and it will finish the statement and add the \ for you. it works on all commands and if there are say (10) choices for a word, it will type up to what is left till they differ.
IE.
say these are commands. SAYALL SAYANYONE SAYALWAYS SAYAMERICA
yeah, im making these commands up. but you type sa and press tab it would give you:
\SAYA as that is where they begin to differ. then you press N then tab and it would output \SAYANYONE
real time saver too. linux folks shoudl love this.
