Yep, though not as often as I would like due to time constants.

Worth 50 bucks plus 15 a month?
That's one of the things that's been keeping me away.

I'm only 23.4. I just finished my first TF today, and it was friggin' amazing. Took 4 hours all said and done, but the storyline was great, the missions were all difficult but not frustrating, and the team I was with were all friendly and generous when it came to sharing. We all died probably twice a piece in the 4 hours, but we also ALL levelled. Definitely worth the time, and in the end I got a +3 SO and 2000 experience not to mention the 500 experience bonus for each leg of the TF being completed (about 8-10 legs).

I'm level 15 (Defender) I find that people tend to run away from the defender and expect the defender to come find them and heal them. Sorry Buddy, but the REST of the party needs me more than you do. Go die in a corner and I'll res you later. :-)
I only play on the Victory server these days. Its too much effort to try to get lots of characters on lots of servers

Ah, Liberty and Justice are all I ever played on seriously. I did make a level 14 'SpurTick' character (Tank with Leap) who was fun to play

TO those who have played thsi game since the start, how much better is it now then day 1? I liked the game and had a lvl 20 character but I lost my internet for a long time so I closed my account. Is it worth getting back into it?

Here's the patch notes for Issue 1 and Issue 2... they're both AWESOME, and Issue 3 is just around the corner:
Issue 1 and 2 added:
-CAPES
-multiple costumes that you can swtich at any time (making for cool transformations before battles, etc)
-customizable power effects after 30 (like you can glow, or sparkle, etc. any color you want)
-a handful of new zones for newbies-->endgamers
-underground abandoned warehouse raves to hang out in and party to music
-many graphics revisions to powers, enemies, and tilesets for maps
-changes to the various task force missions
-badges (for exploration, killing so many of a certain type of enemy, taking such and such damage, etc. -- these are fun to get because they each have a title associated with them, and any badge that you have you can wear the title next to your name. if you complete the "The Lost" story arc, you get the "Pwnz" title which is what I'm wearing right now)
-more shops

The best part is respec which is in Issue 2:
http://www.coh.com/features_update3.html
And also they've added reverse side-kicking... called Exemplar where high level guys can become an Exemplar to a lower level character, losing all of the powers they chose after the level they're Exemplar'ed to, but all of the exp goes to taking care of debt and then influence if no debt rather than half/half. That's fun too.
In Issue 3 here are some big promised features (and they've delivered to the letter everything they promised in 1 & 2:
-extra-combat experience which provide bonuses to your character... it's a bit weird to describe, but let's say you pick up the detection skill with your non-combat experience, if you have a bomb disarm mission, you will be able to see the location of the bombs on the map (basically another way to customize your infinitely customizable characters)
-flashbacks which let you single-player exemplar but ALSO take old missions you're too high level for now so you can complete story arcs you missed and get badges you missed
-PVP arena for fun so peopel can practice strategies for use in City Of Villans
-more stuff that's on the forums that I forgot
-even more secret stuff that's going to be revealed slowly until it's released
I'm 110% happy with my experience of CoH from beta-->preorder-->retail, and I see it just getting better and better. Not to mention if you're a comic book fan at all, the FREE monthly comic book is a pretty good read.
If you're thinking of getting back into it, now's as good as any time to start up again (start on Victory if you're making new).
