This is apparently an issue with some specific motherboards (Realtek audio in particular maybe) and DirectSound. The easiest way to fix it is to go into Teamspeak, open the Settings, and switch from using DirectSound to Wave Sound Driver.
I haven't gotten to try this but TS does crash me, so I'll be testing this tonight. I've read several reports of this resolving the issue though, from people using my hardware setup.
