After reading the Rush thread, I was wondering, what are everybodies top 3 concerts seen and top 3 concerts you wish you could see.

I'll start.

Top 3 seen:
1) Andrew WK at the Bottom Lounge, Chicago-3 weeks ago (he knows how to get a croud going, smaller venue with cool "security" (were pulling people on stage after crowd surfing instead of kicking them out), kick-@$$, fun, energitic rock)
2) The Tossers at the Cowboy monkey in Champaign-1 year ago (one of my favorite bands, seen in a bar, front and center, rocked out for over 3 hours straight, had $1.50 Old Style to boot)
3) Against Me! at the Fireside Bowl in Chicago-1 year ago (great band to see live, sold out show, had Fifth Hour Hero open, unfortunately full of under-18-year-olds (as with all shows that the Fireside and all Against Me! shows)

Top 3 I Wish to see:
1) New Order (who doesn't want to see their favorite band live)
2) The Vindictives (another favorite band, unfortunatly they "broke up" after the death of a member, but reformed into a new band that will hopefulyl put on a couple shows...plus who doesn't want to see 40 year old punk rockers sing about mental illness?)
3) Detroit Cobras (cover band of old school R&B songs (from the 60's back) with an ex-stripper as the lead singer).

/edit: I forgot to put Pink Floyd on bands I wish to see. Though I don't like them as much as I used to (or I like them the same, but I like others a lot more), they'd still be a visual treat to see live.

1) Garth Brooks, Hands down best ever. His energy is just unparrelled. I got to see his farewell tour, great stuff.

2) Alamba, prolly one of the greatest bands of all time, their songs will always be classics. I also went to see their farewell tour.

3) Jamboree in the Hills. If it weren't for the farewell tours of Garth and Alabama this would be the greatest concert anyone could ever attend. Tons of great bands, awesome music, and the women are HAAWT.

Top 3 I've seen:
1. Rush - any of the 4 times I've seen them.

2. Van halen - somewhere around the mid-90's in Hampton, Va.

3. AC/DC - around the same time period - back then summertime was ALL about concerts!

Top 3 I'd LIKE to se:
1. Pink Floyd - with or without Roger Waters

2. Journey - back in their hey-day when they were the Shiznit!

3. G3-Live! (Joe Satriani - whom I've seen and is f*** AWESOME and should've prolly made my top 3 - Steve Vai - guitar GOD - and Eric Johnson) I love guitar virtuosos.

My top three concerts cost a total of $35.

Go check out local bands in bars. Cover is usually like $8 for those shows and you'll usually find something good to enjoy.
