A large rat is $7-9 depending on where you buy. So the cost of "snake food" is about $20 a month.

$20/month for that badass creature? if I lived closer I would... you're still having problems finding a buyer? Try local elementary schools, they love that crap, and if you find out whether or not you can, you might be able to write off the sell price. You know it'd be well taken care of and the kids would get a hoot out of it. My high school teacher had a 3 ft. snake, don't remember what exactly, and everybody in the school came during those lunch periods where he'd feed it live rats. YUM!
