I am looking for ways to control my bandwith use while i play games and the little lady surfs the web. Right now i found this router.

Has anyone here used this or other routers like this? Or do you have any ideas on other ways to control my bandwith?

Its a packet manager.. Prioritizes them. You'd have to use internet sharing and two NICs in your Windows PC to do it that way though.

the windows sharing packet manager - it wont work if you have a router.

I use NetLimiter. It's a program which you have to pay for (I didn't) and it works wonders. You can set caps on every program's upload and download (i.e. I set a global upload of 5k/sec for all bitorrent so I can still play games while downloading). It's great.
