They're putting in extra bars as default!
:)

I'm actually surprised they didn't do this before, since, in my opinion, it's impossible to reach even 30 without more bars.

And some big !!! for the new cool bosses and dungeon.

I still rely on my other mods (see other thread) to get by. > )

Although it may aide people who don't want to have to deal with the fuss of getting extra bar UI mods, I think this UI improvement crap is all really just so that they have stuff to put out in a content patch.

There's a lot of people getting annoyed with Blizzards lack of content patches, and I have even seen a website that keeps a real time count on how long it's been since the last content patch (I think we're at 65 days or so). So this UI upgrade stuff really just seems like Blizzards way of trying to get people to stop crying about the lack of content patches.

I'll delete Cosmos after this. I don't use it for anything but the bars really, though a few minor things are fun to use. I can live without timers on my buffs though, I just need the bars.

WoW has more important problems than content patches to deal with, like continuing to stablize the servers and improve performance. Blizzard isn't the kind of company that likes to release small content updates, they wait until they have a whole LOT of stuff balled up together.

you'd be suprised at how much is actually in cosmos you use :)

when i removed it i found myself daily going back to get another addon to "get back to what i had".

finally i decided flexbar was nice and all, but it was eye candy. it caused problems with my pet bar too so i went back to cosmos and ive been happy ever since.

biggest fix? definaly loweing the UI scale factor (in the video options)

I've got all but lie, 7 of the addons included with Cosmos turned off as is.

i use alot of the stuff it comes wtih.
such as map points, map markers, clock etc.

all stuff i had to go elsewhere to get...
i have had no problems w/ lag via cosmos, so i just chose to stick wtih it.

I like cosmos... it's got all sorts of neat stuff that I'd miss otherwise.

favorite mod so far?
got to be gatherer.
i can look on my big map to see copper / herbs / iron etc and see where i got it from before :)

saves me alot of walking since it respawns.

Yeah, I dunno why everyone started hating on Cosmos. I like it and still use it happily. I've never really had any problems with it, and the size had never really bothered me because I had already done what Blue said by shrinking the UI size in the video options. The only thing is if you shrink to much it all get blurry.
A mod that I really enjoyed that unrequited suggested was Berserk Explosion. Normally I would always forget about my berserk when I get low on health (too worried about dying).

I like how you fixed your spelling error when you quoted yourself... but left the original text in the other post.

:D

Thanks, Balue. You're the best.
