i think the server should auto switch map at 12 or 13 wins and the rotation should be a bunch of cal maps therefore the server will get filled up and stay filled because it has been empty lately and i by doing this change we could get it filled easy!

I don't understand why having a stock map cycle, versus a voting system with stock maps, would make any difference.
Granted, you're saying CAL vs Stock, but there's really no difference. The most popular maps as Aztec, Dust2, Dust, Office, etc. Those maps are automatically ran by the server whenever its empty, a little plugin Shaft setup.
So what would changing to a cycle accomplish? Instead of people getting to choose between Aztec, Dust2, Office, etc, at the end of say, Inferno, they automatically go to Dust2?
Note: The server current runs until either team has 12 wins, and then changes maps. When one team reaches 10 wins, it initiates a vote for the next map.

I voted 'No' even though, as ferret has stated it already switches after 12 wins. However, I do not think taking the vote away from the people is the way to go. Choice has been a quality that this community has enjoyed for a long time. It's kept people loyal.
Besides, GH1 is almost all stocks anyway. No need for this IMO.

heres what happens we play say train then we want to keap the server full so were like ok d2 time ow wait it has been played the last 12 maps then it goes to havana or something dumb and everyone leaves

plus the vote thing isn't even accurate as its time to vote its alreay mid round and people are switching weapons and shit and they choose the wrong map

So what happens if D2 isn't next in your map cycle? You're still not going to get to play it till it rolls around again. The mapcycle would be at least 10 maps long, so how's that different from not being able to vote for D2 if it was one of the last 4 maps?

im not trying to be rude or any thing think of a pubbers mind what maps do you want to play aztec train infterno dust2 i know you may not like it but that will keap the server full 24/6 : ) me and kinson try to go in there atleast once a day and we usually get it full after one map for 4-5 maps then some crapy maps comes up cause no one can nominate ne good maps

See above post. I fixed this yesterday. The plugin was hardcoded to make you wait 12 maps before renominating a map. I changed it to 4.

If it'll help keep the server full I'm for it. Its more fun playing the same few maps repeatedly than having an empty server.

Yeah, and that was the way it was before #2 was created. Since #1 only has like, 14 maps in the cycle... 12 seems a little excessive.
