Do you run the page? Is it pen and pencil style? Maybe you could elaborate a little so I know what I might be getting myself into. Thanks.

I dont run it im a moderator at it. I dont play lots of rpgs so i dunno what u mean by pen/pencil style. Its all typing and them DM makes most of the decisions.

Oh. I don't think its like that. Its like fighting an ogre is
Battle: Ogre
Attack/magic/item
/Kharn (name of character)

Traveling is like "I go east" or "I go north and enter the tower" "I scream to all those near me for aid"

I stopped playing D&D about the 2nd time I sat down. I realized it's all about the GM. It's not a game really, but an interactive story, and if you have a suckass DM you have a suck ass game. I've never had the joy of a non-suck ass DM, so that whole style of gaming's lost to me.

DM's ARE your experience in an RPG. Few DM's are great, most are poor

Got to be slightly power hungry and mad to be a DM if you ask me. Guess that Suits some people. A Good RPG is VERY memorable but 70% of it comes from the DM impressing upon enough to suspend belief for a while and transport you to that place he just described.

Hmm it DOES give the player something to look at while playing, but it can also inhibit role play. Its hard to get an accent or stress a point via the console :(

It does however allow you to roll dice which is always fun
