To all considering donating to the site:

My service provider has recently added new payment methods.. In the past, they offered two setup fees, $49 and $99, and as a result of going with the $99, you got $20 off monthly, forever.

Well, they've added two new tiers, $199 and $299. The $199 is $20 less than I'm paying now, and the $299 is $50 less monthly than I'm paying now. The catch? They're letting old customers retroactively pay setup fee and have their monthly rate lowered.

If I pay $200, I get $50 off my current bill. That means in 4 months, I've already earned back that $200, and begin saving more money after that, meaning donations become less critical. The lower monthly cost makes it easier on my budget to consider RAM upgrades to the current server, or even an additional server for more games.

If you guys can help out and donate some, I plan to do this as soon as possible. I can make the $200 myself, but I'd really appreciate some help.

No. I pay a one time fee, and forever thereafter pay LESS per month.

I'm in, ferret. Look for mine this weekend. I'm not 'home' here yet, but I hope to settle in. The way I see it, you're either IN or you're OUT.

Would you consider the $299 setup fee over the $199 setup fee if we helped out enough? That seems the more economical way to go.

Ferret, what are the technical diffrences between the two tiers and what you currently have?

I'm already on the $99 tier. Hence $200 more to get to the $300.

The ONLY difference is that I'll pay $50 less every month. I don't get more RAM, I don't get another HDD, no more bandwidth, I just pay a hell of a lot less.

Thanks for your donations, I'll be paying the $200 as soon as the transfer from Paypal to my bank account completes.
