Yes, I was 11. My Aunt was in a character competition for her beauty school, I won 3rd place. I could have been 12, I'm thinking it was 84 or 85, either way it was about 20 years ago. Freaks me out, seems like yesterday.

How do you back up an ego? I can see how you can back up confidence, swagger, trash talk, etc, but how an ego? Honestly not trying to be a dick here, I'd just like to hear your explanations. To me ego is a belief you are better then others, to back that up is to say you have proven you are better then others. That's just my take on the statement, I am sure you mean it differently, I'd just like to hear how.

I don't think Acme has a huge ego. I think Acme is a free thinker who wants to be proven things before he buys into them. I disagree with that method of thinking myself, it shows a lack of trust, but it's a respectable position. I've seen times Acme has put up a vigorous fight on an argument only to admit he was wrong after a proper arguement was made against his point of view. When was the last time you admited you were wrong Canon? When was the last time you admited you were wrong after you've put time and effort into defending your position? Honestly, I can't remember. I rather have someone like Acme, a person that doesn't buy into all he is told, but in the end can be won over with reason then someone who throws compromise aside if it prevents him from even the smallest of victories.

Acme wouldn't make that comment to low light. That is a comment of ego. You have known Low Light long enough (has it been five years?) to know that it is wrong to interpert his post as "something seriously wrong with him". Low Light way of communicating in forums is unique, I personaly even find it loveable at times. You obviously see it differently but you are still perceptive enough to know where he comes from in his post by now. You tell us you are so smart, that you understand things better then maybe even all of us, then you undercut yourself by taking an easy shot at low light. That's a cheap show with no reward to but inflate your ego. I think you owe our LL an apology, doupt he will get it though.
