I remember ferret mentioned something about kamie hating barrens because of color issues, this might help with some of the other UI components...

Color blind people .. its .. Not like they can't see color (There's a whole bunch of different forms.. Its rare for someone to literally see black/greys/white only).. They just can't tell them apart.

To them certain shades of colors look the same.. Like red and orange, or blue and green. So places in say, a game, that rely heavily on those colors look like just one big blob of "blue" with no texture or lines. red/orange color blindness is most common i believe.

In the horde area, a lot of the starting areas are red/orange desert type areas. I'm not color blind but I've had some minor difficulties in those areas myself, just kinda blurs together. For some red/orange blind, its just ALL red. They can't tell anything apart, can't really see the road, etc. They can tell where the terrain meets the sky and in some cases that's about it.

The most common color blindness is red/green. Just a bit of trivia information. :P

i have 20/17 vision which from what i hear is like super vision.

It means that from 20 feet away, you can see what most people see only from 17 feet away.

20/20 is not perfect. It's perfectly average.
