Halo for the PC...

Yeah, I know it isnt the "greatest", but after playing it on the x-box and getting fed up with that god damn controller, I decided to purchase the PC version. Anyone else have it? I know darien *used* to have it. The MP is a little laggy no matter what server you are on, IMHO, but smaller lan games are alot of fun if you ask me... especially when you get to fly the banshee. It is all worth it for the banshee.

Beat it on whatever the hardest difficult is. Haven't loaded it since. Never understood the hype behind this game.

X box controllers own me. I have sorta small hands and all, hence why I will not buy a Xbox I am happy w/ my ps2 anyways. Halo is okies tho I can sacrifice my hands feeling like crap to play it on the xbox worth it, pc not worth getting tho in my opinion at all =p

I have PC Halo, and I just got my Halo Special Edition Xbox yesterday! :D

But man, going from PC Halo to Xbox Halo is hard...the controller feels so foreign to me...I think it's the S one. Way different than my old PS2 controllers. :?

If anyone wants to go online with the PC version, just PM me, post here, or something! Warthog parties are teh best!! Especially when you got Teamspeak on. 8)

Dont really like either version... I too thought the game would be more fun to play with a key and mouse but i was not at all correct. It made it a bit easier to control, but the lack of weapons and gameplay Kills me!

It just seems pretty redunant. The Guns Totally Suck. I think SP is a bit better than MP. I usually use the alien guns instead of the same RCP90 gun. Yea i donno I just dont like HALO at all.. I like the outfits but thats about it!

yeah the PC version is more like Halo 1.5. I havent played it, but from what i've been told its basically Halo with semi-Halo 2 multiplayer and weapons.

But yeah, when its on the PC it cant stand up against the new PC FPS's out there. On the pc, theres really nothing to it. The whole greatness about it was that on the console it was a first of its kind. Hardcore 16 player multiplayer games with vehicles. And just the way the game is makes it the most intense mutliplayer ever on a console. Plus the story line is great and singleplayer action is terrific.

I have big hands, so i didnt mind the original controllers. I got a controller-s recently because they got me curious, and i do kinda like it, although i hate where the start/select buttons are for halo games. You cant run and check the scores at the same time :(

like ferret said, i don't understand the hype behind this game. i mean, you're one superpowered dude that can take pretty much take out an army of aliens, and when it's for the flood....... it just seems to turn into halflife.... beat it in like... 3-5 hours on hardest diff.

After playing CS, Halo just seems too easy.

Why would you need coop? I supopse it could be fun, but SP was easy enough by myself
