Do not buy anything no need to. Just stick with linen and keep making things with linen to get your tailoring up. Thats all you can do now untill you go to wool. Then just repeat. Just grab all that you can, do not buy waste of money. And right now you do not have to get so high so fast as I can cover whatever you need or others need.

For enchanting. When linen doesn't up your tailoring points, whenever you get linen make brown robes. Disenchant the brown robes and get strange dust. Then just keep enchanting things with the strange dust you get to increase your skill. I enchanted my bracer over and over again with strange dust untill I got to about 120 in enchanting. Its the toughest skill I would say so do not expect any thing from it at first. I am now only starting to sell enchantments for 60-80s depending on what and even still its rare that people buy as I do not yet offer the best enchantments.

Enchanting is without doubt the hardest profession to raise and max out. Not only is it hard to get the reagents to do enchanting with, but later on the Master Enchanter is inside a friggin instance inside of Uldaman. It's hard to get to Master Enchanter when you're around level 30 so I had to wait a while before I can learn all the high level enchanting stuff.

Let me know if you are doing enchanting on Mal'ganis server and want some help getting to the enchanter in Uldaman. I am level 50 and will be going to Uldaman sometime this weekend to train.

As far as PVP goes, I believe the best profession to get is probably Mining/Engineering. Later on some of the engineering stuff really helps people in PVP espeically the Gnomish Net-O-Matic thingy.

Most of the time if you do Engineering you most likely have to do Mining also. Tailoring does go pretty well with Enchanting but I'm just saying that for those people who are going to be hardcore PVP players, it's a very good idea to do Mining/Engineering.

Most common combinations:

Alchemy/herbalism
Engineering/mining
Blacksmithing/mining
Leatherworking/skinning
Tailor/enchanting
Mining/Skinning (Pure gathering)

The reason enchant and tailor go hand in hand is because neither has a gathering skill.
