I use hlds or all seeing eye, not sure of the link just google it. Google is amazing for finding things :lol:

i started using hlds once i t came out, after ASE. both are good, hlds is better in my opinion.

HLDS is grossly outdated these days, it seems. I haven't used ASE except once like 2 years ago. Didn't like it.

Hmm, i havent played many other games other than CS in a while.. I used to use ASE when i played bf1942 and DC, but i've just been using the steam server browser for CS :\

i think i might start using ASE again.

It HLSW, not HLDS :) HLDS is the HL1 Dedicated Server

HLSW beta works work for me, I use it all the time. They need to make an official release though, for sure.

i use hlsw for rcon as it tends to minimize the game randomly if i connect through it
