Car Arcade Game Help

I can not for the life of me remember the car game where you were driving a red colored car kinda looked like a delorian, the scenery would change and there was a plane or something that would drop weapons down for you to catch to have on the top of your car and it had like balls you had to run over for gas or whatever. HELP! =p

If it was the one where you got a cannon on the top of your car and the steering wheel wasn't round, but had two cutouts at the top and bottom to make it look a lil like the bat symbol, then that game was so awesome. Too bad I don't know the name.

No, it wasn't Spy Hunter, it was Road Blasters...where you ran over green and red spheres for fuel, shot at yellow and purple cars for points, and tried to get to the finish line before time ran out.
