i had to take out a stick of ram to install this game.
im really pissed on how good blizzard did the install

Other than the fact that it took about 30 minutes to install (probably because of my whopping 1.33 ghz tbird) .. i had no problems as well :-P

last night me and erad took on a few alliance on the pvp server. was hillarious. they sucked so bad at it... me (lvl 52) and him (lvl 57?) took em out almost every time. i got ganked a few times as i spawned in.. .but fun none the less.

=) if you ever come to try the pvp action let us know, we welcome everyone...

im thinking about trying to up my rogue there, just not sure if i want a mage or rougue. havent decided yet ...

Hah, I've actually done PvP on Lightbringer :/ Some level 24 troll rogue was attacking Alliance NPCs in Westfalls. The players in the area are generally like, level 16-18, so he's sitting there taunting them cause they won't attack him. So I'm like, level 21, and figure, what the heck.

Dead troll, the level 16-18s jumped on him the second they noticed I was hitting him, hilarious.

So he comes back, resurrects, and tries to use rogue's sprint to get away. The 16-18s are ignoring him now though. Hit him my concussion shot to stun him, sent teh bear after him, hit my aspect of the cheeta for some speed, and killed him again :p

He sat out the 5 minute PvP disable after that ;P

Anyways. I thought it was funny.

if you have to attack first to start PVP into action, how do you ever get attacked? is there a setting "Turn on pvp" "Turn Off pvp" ?

if no one could start it, it would never happen :(

On Normal servers, there's special events that activate PvP. Once its activated it identical to PvP on Pvp servers

-Typing /pvp enables you to be attacked (disables after five minutes)
-Attacking an NPC that belongs to the opposite faction (I believe this includes quest NPCs, such as aggro NPCs you have to kill. I believe that's what the Troll did, he killed an NPC that alliance players have to kill to complete a quest).
-Attacking another player that is PvP enabled.

All of these "disable" again after five minutes of not doing anything else "bad" .. You still see a ton of raids on Normal servers, but "innocent" bystanders don't have to worry about being drawn into them if they don't want too.

OH man have I been in PVP action. It might be a normal server but raids go on all the time. I like it alot because lower levels dont have to worry about being killed all the time. Once you hit level 30 it basically becomes PVP as you go on raids and attack if you attack any NPCs you have PvP turned on automatically. I normally just turn it on myself when I see the horde and I want to try dueling.
