... Pistons almost took game one away.
I think the pistons have a very good chance. Once tayshaun gets his shot going and rasheed actually does something other then foul, then it's over.
Timberwolves all the way.

Pistons in 6, dominating the Pacers in games 2, 3 and 6, holding them to under 70 points in each (I so called game 7 NJ under 70 pts). The pacers will take game 4 in Detroit by 12.
Minnesota in 5, game 1 was a fluke, game 2 was more of how they play. LA was 1-3 in the regular season against them, and Minn wasn't playing then like they are now. Absolutely no chance for LA to survive. Game 3 will be close, under 7 pts differential, but game 4 and 5 will be 10 pts + wins for Minn.

That had to be the worst offensive game I had ever watched or was it the best defensive game I ever saw :? I think the refs were horrible on both ends of the court for both teams (So I guess that evens it out). But the Pistons should us what the "D" in Detroit stands for :( 19 blks by the Pistons was amazing to watch. I hand it to them for great "D".
Now my beloved Pacers have to win a game in Detroit.

I had heard that it was a combined 26 blocks, and hadn't seen Indy get any for a while. Thought that Detroit was just running up the stats :)
As for Minn vs LA:
Minnesota has entirely too many weapons for LA to deal with. If the wolves can continue to frustrate Shaq, that will be all she wrote. Game 2 was just the beginning. LA has now been humiliated, frustrated, and confused by Minnesota, and it will work against them in game 3. Game 4 I'm kind of worried about because Kobe will be in Denver all day then back at night, and, well, we've seen his numbers when he does that (fears for Minnesotas sanity that night).
LA was stifled by Houston's D, and Houston only had a couple good players, which is why LA won. Minnesota is Houston on crack. When you have 3-6 weapons that come off the bench and can score on anyone, you are pretty much gonna own anyone.

You should be cring. Hell the NBA and the Judical system want the Lakers to win. If they didnt why isn't Koby's case over with and why didn't Malone get suspened for 2 games?
1) Koby, If this was anyone else (Other than a pro athlete of Koby's status) this trial would have already happened. Instead the trial date is just getting ready to get set :(.
2) Malone, Look at game 5 of the Wolves and Kings. Bo's flying all over the place. Peeler lands one to KG and gets 2 games for it. Fastforward to game 2 of Lakers and Wolves. Same thing. Bo's flying everywhere (Game already decided) Malone throws a Bo to (Hell I foget the guys name) and he only gets a $7500 fine. WTF is that crap? Then the League gives Artest a $10K for throwing up the fingers. (I agree this shouldn't of happened but $10K for not hurting someone :( ) This league is becoming an embarcement.
NEway. ROUND 3 tonight. Pacers win by 5 :D

You must have missed where Larry Brown started cussing infront of the camera at the officals too huh?
How can you justify that win? The Officals really want Detroit to win. Rick argues calls and gets a T. Rasheed and Larry argue calls and get nothing :?

Pfft The Pacers split with the lakers. And had a winning % over the west. I would also "cough" like the chances of Detroit against either West team. I think the east has a great chance to win it all this season. No matter which team makes it.

Yes the refs were bad. In Detroits favor. Rasheed throws #'s rants at the refs and still no Ts. This is BS. He should get td up if he is going to earn one.

haha reggie miller was fined 5 grand for kicking the ball at the end of game 4. And to say the refs were not calling fairly.. nearing the end of the 4th quarter of the 3rd game, the pistons got 3 or 4 fouls in a matter of seconds. That brought up the chance for the pacers to take it but they couldn't.
The pistons beat the lakers earlier in the season, before they even got rasheed. I think the pistons have a good chance.

Umm you need to look at your teams records for the season. They lost 3 of 4 to the Pacers in the regular season. The first 3 without Rasheed. :P They won the 4th with Rasheed.
As for the $5K fine. That is fine. I expected it. That also happened at the end of the game. As for the 4 fouls. Hmmm the Pistons shot +10 freethrows in the first 3 quarters. In the fourth quarter of game 3 the refs started finally calling the game both ways. And the Pacers ended up only shooting alittle less free throws.
How about the shlacking we gave you guys in game 4? I think that was the first game that the officating was fair(Hell games 1 - 3 were officated bad). I think there were some bad no calls and some bad calls. But even on both ends of the court.
How many of you commenting in this thread actually watch the games? I missed only the first quarter of Game 4 due to I hadn't gotten home yet. I listened to it on the raido on the way home from work though ;).

I watch every game of the pistons, and whenever I can I try to watch the west finals. Last night I also missed the first quarter because me and some friends were out playing basketball and just didn't realize it was that late. We got in the the second though.
Last night was a dissapointment. The pistons continually forced passes down low and forced unessecery (sp?) shots. B.Wallace got into foul trouble early which made us put in elden cambell... unfortunatly. Also when Tayshaun and B.Wallace score a total of one point together, then they really have a challenge.
The pacers did good while on the road and I give them credit. As for the pistons, they better pick it up :[

Complaining about the referees is BS. I watch the games with my friends who every night complain that Detroit can never get the calls. When I play ball I dont worry about getting calls and whatnot. The players decide who wins in the end and not the refs end of story. Granted bad calls do take place, but every good team has to play around them. You think the bulls got every call going their way during their reign? SO JDOGG SUCK IT UP. Game 4 sucked to go too, but i would like to think that in some small way my mock wallace fro helped us win game 5. The Pacers wont make it out of the palace again, and I will definately be going to a finals game no matter what.

Apparently Minnesota can't score in LA to save their lives :( I'm sad about that one. On the other hand, who has been right thus far about Detroit/Indiana? I said 12 points Pacers over Detroit in game 4, it was 17, but meh, I did say it would be a rout. Game 6 tonight, Detroit 82, Indiana 69. Go Richard (Rip) Hamilton, he will shred the Pacers.
