End of the nano?

I don't think its the 'end' of nano, just a different World.

On Sisi my vaga still ate a cerb easily as his heavy missiles were doing 50dps and I was chewing through him at 200dps.

I used the MWD to get into range and then turned it off as the Vaga has a tiny winy little sig radius.

Missiles got nerfed pretty badly, its going to be the time of the Amarr and Drone boats now. Caldari are actually in the running though as 'viable' which will make the order of killing enemy fleets different if nothing else.

Everytime I've played it was all about Amarr and Drone. You mean I managed to miss the four months where missiles were good?

They have not been good for years, they are going to be 'viable' again in PVP.

There are a ton of changes happening here and the best part, lately, 400 people pew pewing has been manageable as they have been upgrading to 64bit servers chewing through the data!!

Looking forwards to assault frigates being fun again though ;-)

Assault frigs were never really "fun". They were more like "Oh look I can fly one but it's only good for ratting".

You need at least 2 accounts to enjoy the game unfortunatly. One for farming the other for pewing. That's one reason I stopped playing. You can't balance that on one account.

unless you have a CEO who will farm for you. and hook you up.

i have always been perfectly happy, paying for my PEWing on the Corp coffers...and doing Corp raids, etc. Always a happy pirate.

but, i have a damn hard time playing when people are in it for uber-Corp fame. good luck with that! i want a CEO who is plenty happy rat'ing an area and making it impossible to go thru...and having it known that way.

yah, I have to agree its a pretty daft (but lucrative for CCP) way to be going about doing things needing to have 2 accounts.

Must admit, I have a billion sitting about doing nothing in my wallet and over 3 billion in fully fitted ships to pew pew in at the moment.

This patch is definitely a nerf to missile spewers to some degree, but the fact they can now hit a nano-fit ship is certainly no reason for their whining on the EVE-O forums ;)
